The Nigerian Society of Rheumatology (NSR), is the national body that represents Rheumatologists and trainees in Nigeria.

Our mission
The Nigerian Society of Rheumatology aims to raise awareness on the burden of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases in Nigeria as well as reduce the impact of these conditions on individuals and the society at large.
Furthermore, through our activities, we desire to improve the well being of people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders in Nigeria.
To achieve the aforementioned, NSR will conduct,promote and support research, teaching, education and clinical services in rheumatology as well as advocate for affordable and equitable access to rheumatology services across the six geopolitical zones and state capitals in Nigeria

The NSR is open to international collaboration in research and other activities that can broaden the scope and practice of rheumatology in Nigeria
